Ardaman and our employees have recently been recognized for notable achievements.
Mike Wilson, P.E., Ardaman’s manager of the Tallahassee, Florida office was recently recognized as Engineer of the Year by the Tallahassee Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Mike has been with Ardaman for nearly 25 years and has managed the branch in Tallahassee since 2000. He is a proud alumnus of Auburn University where he received a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has two sons, Andrew and Evan both engineering students at the University of Florida, and he resides in Tallahassee with Julie, his wife of 35 years. Congratulations Mike!
Two of Ardaman’s projects have been recognized by ACEC of Florida as part of their 2016 Engineering Excellence Awards program.
Ardaman and their client, J.R. Simplot Company, were presented an Honor Award for design and construction services for an Expansion of a Phosphogypsum Storage Area at the Don Plant in Pocatello, Idaho. The award was presented at the recent ACEC of Florida Annual Conference and Exposition held at the Sawgrass Resort in Ponte Vedra, Florida. When writing about Ardaman’s participation, the client stated;
“Our company selected Ardaman & Associates, Inc. because of their unique qualifications of designing and consulting services associated with gypsum stacks. Throughout our relationship with them we have experienced excellent service responsive to all our concerns. This project is extremely unique and has required Ardaman to use much innovation in design and recommended construction methods. The project was designed and executed with world class quality control and with an excellent safety record with the engineering oversite by the Nominee.”

Ardaman and their client, the Orlando Utilities Commission were awarded a second Honor Award at the same ACEC of Florida event for design and construction services for the CWSA Runoff Pond at the Stanton Energy Center in Orlando, Florida. In the recommendation letter, the client wrote;
“Our company selected Ardaman & Associates, Inc. because of their history of professional service and technically excellent designs conducted on the Stanton site. Their staff has been extremely responsive to our requirements. They have consistently provided excellent service; solidly represented our interests throughout the design, permitting and construction phases of this project, and persistently gone above and beyond the scope of work.”
