- Geotechnical Engineer -
Full-time entry level position working in our Orlando, FL office on a wide range of geotechnical engineering activities. Summarize, evaluate, and present field and laboratory data using computer worksheet programs including Microsoft Excel and Sigma Plot. Perform geotechnical analyses using computer software including SEEP/W for seepage analyses, SLOPE/W for slope stability analyses, and GMS-MODFLOW for groundwater flow simulations. Draft laboratory testing and engineering reports for senior engineers. Research and review information and data for engineering projects. Develop and review construction drawings and technical specifications for engineering projects. Coordinate with field personnel to perform subsurface exploration program and field tests. Coordinate with laboratory personnel to perform laboratory testing on soil, geosynthetic, and water samples. Must have completed at least three years towards a Bachelor’s degree in a recognized civil engineering program. - Field Technician - Full time position working out of Ardaman’s Tampa, FL office. Responsible for concrete testing, nuclear density gauge soil density testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory testing. REQUIREMENTS include: At least 18 years old; ACI concrete field testing certification required; Nuclear Density Gauge training preferred; The ability to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain; The ability to work outdoors in the heat for up to 10-12 hours per day; The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs; The ability to perform mathematical calculations; The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed; The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed; Excellent driving record within company standards; Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc. Local candidates only; no relocation.
